Threshold ramps tend to be safer, especially in less than ideal conditions.
Threshold ramps are easy to install, designed to be lightweight and strong.
When choosing an access ramp for people with reduced mobility, the length and therefore the angle of inclination of the ramp depends on:
100% industrial-grade aluminum. Won’t rust, warp, or rot.
Our experienced engineers design ramps for the most difficult projects.
Wheelchair ramps feature slip-resistant raised ridges
Fully compliant with ADA, IBC, and local building codes.
Prefabricated and bolts together on-site. No welding needed.
Our professional installation crew ensures your project goes smoothly.
Our access ramps for people with reduced mobility are specially designed to improve the quality of life of users throughout the province of Quebec as well as in Canada. Ramps made of aluminum are favored thanks to their lightness, their ease of use, as well as the little maintenance they require. The lightness of aluminum does not compromise the solidity of the access ramp since it meets the ADA Wheelchair Ramp Code, ADA Guidelines & ADA Compliant standards, resisting heavy loads through its solidity. The access ramps we use are therefore a good compromise between lightness and solidity. Our sales, rentals and installation services are offered across Quebec, for portable or modular ramps. We make sure to adapt the venues for all types of events to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility. Our ramps not only allow you to participate in events, but they also allow you to move around safely and easily. Depending on your preferences, rental is available for one day or several months.
For residents of the city of Montreal
On April 1, 2020, the City of Montreal implemented its home adaptation program (PAD Montreal) for people with disabilities who live on its territory.
When PAD Montréal came into effect, the SHQ transferred all the files of beneficiaries and eligible persons living in Montréal to the Service de l’habitation de Montréal. It is this service that will contact the persons concerned in order to ensure the follow-up and processing of their requests.
Note that options 2 and 3 of the SHQ program are no longer available in Montreal since April 1, 2020.
Toute personne handicapée qui est limitée dans l’accomplissement de ses activités quotidiennes à domicile peut bénéficier du programme, à condition qu’elle :
